1. The historic event that happened, was that a first black president was elected, but what was even more astounding in my views is that they did polls and almost all people said that race wasn't an issue. Which means people weren't just electing him because he's black but because he is right for this country.
2. It affects my life in every way. I am a citizen of the United States, He will be my new president. He will be making changes to the economy and to the war, this effects me directly and indirectly. But my well being and education and economic status rests in his hands. i am very affected by this.
3. I think it will better us. In others view of us as a nation, and will directly improve the war and our economic struggle. i believe he will do what is right for the people and will listen.
